You're not the only one. I actually picked Ole' Miss to win this game, albeit in a very tight 1pt margin.

I think most people who like to say that the SEC is the best conference believe that other league champions would lose three or four games if they played in the SEC. Therefore, there were many folks who expected Ole Miss to give TCU all they could handle. I also thought OM would hang tough. Ole Miss continued to get ranked highly in those power rankings that some people love. This is an example of power rankings versus on the field results. Ole Miss is getting flat out embarrassed in this one.

It's a long, brutal season that TCU would not have survived in the SEC west.

I expected TCU to win, mainly because I'm a big believer in Gary Patterson. And, not much of a believer in Hugh Freeze. I never expected this, though.

For me the perfect playoff system would have the best teams keep advancing.

Not sure if that will ever happen or if it's even possible.

Agreed. Any of the top SEC teams can be beaten if they do not show up ready to play.

No. They lost too many important players to injury and they weren't ready for the speed and athleticism TCU brought to the table. I suspect many of us underrated TCU, to be quite honest. But Ole Miss isn't this​ bad.
