I'm thinking a TD and three FGs for the Tiggers and two FGs and four TDs for us'n. If my Alabama public school math is right then I think that would mean we win 34-16.

RTR!

Come on brother, get it together. Everything gonna be all right and we gonna get #16. I guarantee it ;-)As it gets closer and closer, I'm getting MORE and MORE concerned with those Clemson Tigers. That QB gives me nightmares just thinking about what he can POSSIBLY do to our awesome Defense. They are probably going to spread us out more than anyone that we've played this year. I sure hope he spends a lot of time on his backside looking up at the stars, oh this is played indoors, so I mean the ceiling!
That MSU QB couldn't move around. That Clemson QB is like a jack rabbit. He moves quickly: here, there and everywhere else and may run or throw. That can cause Bama DB's to come up to get him and leave their man UNCOVERED. I think, he's much better than Manziel!
We may have to score 50+ to win!
Somebody, please make me feel better about this game.
Those TideFans picking Bama by a bunch must NOT be having any nightmares, yet!
One of the benefits of playing in the ACC.That's been the odd thing about this whole year. We haven't had to play perfect to win.
...and beat Auburn to open 2016 season!Ok, picking the score.
I expect both teams to play their best game. Both are motivated. Clempson has a very good D. Watson is a dynamic QB. Their defensive backs are very good. They have decent wide receivers. So.... my guess is ....
Good guys: 38
Clempson: 13
It'll be a GREAT game!!!
Congrats on a great 14-1 season, Tigers! Best wishes going forward! Roll Tide, y'all!!!
Agreed. One of the benefits of playing in the ACC.
I'll be a Clempson fan on that day ;-)...and beat Auburn to open 2016 season!
Yeah it takes a lot more than just a hot QB. It takes something earth shakable. The problem with the analysis that the dual threat QB is our kryptonite, is that losses to such teams have always come with something else. Almost always that something else was multiple TOs or special teams gaffes. If I'm concerned with anything, or afraid as some like to put it, it is that unknown. It's not Watson or Clemson's offense.
If we take care of the ball and don't screw it up on special teams, it is going to be very difficult for Clemson to sustain drives on this defense and the big play isn't going to happen over and over either. HUNH or not. Dual threat QB or not. That's the key and frankly it has always been the key to beating Alabama, despite Danielson's "hot QB" theory.
Frankly, it is what defines the Nick Saban system, and so many people fail to grasp it. Explosive plays. How many times has he mentioned it since day 1 here? Explosive plays. Yet we are the boring team.We hear about the Clemson being so high powered and full of big plays, yet they have 6 TDs on the season that went for 50+ yards. Alabama, OTOH, has 7 of those plays. The Alabama defense and special teams has 6, giving Alabama 13 as a team.
How many "5 reasons" articles have you seen this week? It's nauseating, like "charm offensive" from a few years back, everyone has to say or do. Here is one reason to disregard them.
