Alabama
Well it's Monday morning so time to pick the score. Next up is Ga. Southern. They have a 9-1 record this year so they may play us tough. I do believe this game will be over by halftime or at least the 3rd quarter. I do not expect this to be a close game, and Ga. Southern may not even score on this defense. I will give them 3 points, but our second or third string may give up a late TD. or another FG. This defense is nasty, and I just don't see many points being put up by them or Auburn the following week.

Bama wins 37-3

something over 40 to 3. i think they'll have one semi successful drive, maybe even their first, that ends up in a FG. after that, we shut the option down.

People thinking Georgia Southern will be competitive in this game are kidding themselves and have a bit of Shula-itis left in them.

If our offense shows up and executes... 56-3

If our offense shows up and goes through the motions for the 3rd straight week... 41-3

34-3
Trent-143 yard rushing with 50 yard catching yards.
Lacey 78 yards.

Phillip Sims getting in playing time in second half.
Dee Hart come in for one or two plays ( wishful thinking)

It better be by a gazillion points. I know it's Ga So, but we need some so called style points and we better put an butt whooping on Aub like Ga did too!! Revenge is sweet!

45-3 :BigA:

I hope it's where we can get significant playing time for our 3s and 4s.
We have had a rough couple of weeks. We need to rest our starters in preparation for Auburn.
Looks like Auburn's been resting all year, but they will bring it when we play.

I hate to beat up on a Div I-AA school but (a) we need some "style points"; (b) the offense and kicking game have some kinks to work out; and (c) we can use the second half to scrimmage for the talibarn game.

Bama 58 -10

The triple option is never easy to defend, especially on one week's preparation. Fortunately for us, we far outmatch then talent-wise. I think their offense will have more success than we'd typically expect, due to the option factor, but they won't score more than on 2 drives, and they won't score more than 1 td. I think they get 2 field goals.

Offensively, we should be able to steamroll them due to size and talent edges. It just depends on how much tinkering they want to do offensively. I don't expect much, since the barn is next week.

52-6.

If the Citadel and Appy St can each hold them to 14, I don't think they score on Bama, even on the reserves.
56-0

Bama 55 GS 3. Trent comes out with a vengence in the 1st half. Eddie and Jalston wear them down in the 2nd half. Defense is just to talented for GS offense no matter what they do.

59-10

Anytime you play an option -- you are going to see a couple of fluke plays -- one of which could result in a TD
Anytime you play the option -- you are likely to get 4-5 turnovers -- and I see at least 2 Def TDs, maybe 3 in that total!

59-10 is the score at the end of the 3rd quarter -- then we coast in the 4th --

Ya got to slide down the line and stay at home with the triple option and don't go with the first movement of the QB.

Bama tries FG's again.....makes 2 Bama 27 Ga. So. 6 I think we score enough, but won't want to get anyone else hurt. Reserves come in quickly.

I'm looking forward to watching us defend the option. I think Jesse Williams has a big game.

Alabama 55 them 9
