Well we have two games under our belt, and I like the improvements I saw from AJ from week 1 to week 2. We will probably see around a 50/50 split between the two QB's this week. This will be a nice tune-up game for the starting of SEC play the following week so pick the score.

I know CNS said there is a "qb competition" but unless he's said so, I'd doubt we'd see Sims get anywhere near 50% of the snaps...even in a blowout as we expect.

IMO, give AJ as much time as possible under center getting valuable experience and developing continuity with his receivers. I'm sure we'll see PS, but I'd be surprised if he got more than 20-25% of the snaps.

Score:
Bama: Way too much
NTex: not nearly enough

55-3 Good Guys.

AJ in most of game to get reps in what will amount to a practice before SEC play opens. Sims comes in for mop up duty halfway through the fourth to get him some reps too in a real game situation.

I want to see Sims play some more QB and improve. I still think he's a really good QB. AJ is, however, distancing himself as the starter. He's making good decisions and he's playing well. I love it. I think Sims will play the second half and defense stays the same.

Bama 54 UNT 6
