What in the world were they doing out there today. They could not make a shot or rebound defensively. I hope they rebound from this loss w/ a win over LSU next saturday.

This is the bama team of old, if we continue to play like this on the road, we will have a tough time winning any SEC road games. Of course Xavier is one tough place to play on the road, but then again, what place isn't tough to play on the road?

nope, they didn't have a good day today. Like you, I hope they rebound next Saturday. Rarely seen a basketball team, particularly a young one, that doesn't have a bad game from time to time.

8-3 is a lot better than I expected and if they can win 9 in the conference, they'll make it to the big show--more than most expected of them.

I still like this team. RTR

I agree that we played badly today. Realistically, I never would have thought we would be 8-3 going into SEC play. Some nights, we are going to take our lumps. I believe those nights will be fewer than the ones like tonight.

Coach G knows what he is doing. Let's not panic and be fair weather fans but support this team through the whole season.

The one thing that will make me happy about the basketball program is how we progress in a season. I don't want to see us play well early in the season and then lose by 30 to a team at the end of the season.
We took it in the chin today, hopefully the team will have enough hunger and get back on the right track in Baton Rouge.

RTR,

We are nothing but "Road Kill."

You are not a good team until you are competitive on the road. I did not say winner, but competitor. You don't see the UK's of the world getting stomped like that. They get beat, but these "Road Kills" are ridiculous.

This is just like two years ago.

Good grief. We have a young team that has been better than anybody could have expected. With a young team, there are going to be bad games. You just have to live with it and know that it is a learning experience.

All you naysayers, shut your trap. Last week we smacked a top 20 team in the mouth, and I counted like 5 post about it. We lose to xavier at their place, and there are 3 different threads about how bad we are and gotfried on the hot seat? Are you serious?

Xavier is something sick, like 47-3 at that arena since it opened. They are a yearly participant in the NCAA tourney. We took the lead early, but it became clear that we were battling more than the players and the fans. we also had to play against the refs. We coulndt get a call no matter what, and #25 for xavier seemed to have a free pass. So we got a little flustered and hit cold sreaks in both halfs. So now we are terrible? Im sure, just like everything else, we must place the balme on nobody but Joe Kines!!

I think it's all Mal Moore's fault!
