Auburn signs him to a guaranteed $100million contract, then fires him Alabama hires him for $1 a year. Auburn pays Dabo $100m to coach Alabama for 10 years
All the while gathering evidence of the Yella wood bag man system and turns them into the NCAA ala Nick Nolte in "Blue Chips." Blue font and such

Here is a quote from aufamily that I thought was hilarious.

Here's the "tin-foil hat" position.

His success at ...... is so beyond the scope of anything that anybody (including bahr) has ever done then he's either cheating......or is an alien being from the planet Football Geniuses Sector 1.

You have a better chance proving he is an alien than he is cheating.
If they had the ability to read a book, or pay attention to details outside of their little bubble, they'd realize Nick Saban was destined for this kind of success in whatever field he ended up in. He is among the 1% of the 1%. He is completely driven towards his goals and is incapable of being satisfied with anything less than perfection. And since perfection isn't humanly possible, he will be working for it until he leaves this world. These are qualities not present in most human beings. It just so happens he chose to be a football coach.

I hate to break it to some of you Bama fans, but if the barn made an offer good enough to his liking, I think Dabo would leave Barn with a Lake for the Barn in a New York minute.
A complete asinine statement. He was born and bred Bama, he’s making nearly 8 million a year, and despite a few ignorant fans, Clemson would dig deep in the pocketbook to keep him. Even though it’s an inferior conference, he took a mediocre program and turn them into a perineal contender. I would think barn with a lake would go upwards of 10 mil to keep him. Playoff appearance’s pay a lot of money. Combined with what they owe Cus Mahlzan, the real Barn can’t afford Dabo.

the loss last weekend where they rolled over and gave up at the end of the first half was pretty bad.
You mean like everyone else that played that team? Not saying Gus is a good coach, just pointing out that it would have been hard to do much better.
Put Auburn in the ACC in place of Clemson and they would probably be in the championship game. I think at worse they would be 9-3.
Exactly. If you want a comparison, the SEC West is an 82.6 according to Sagarin (#1). The ACC is seventh, at 75.57 and the main reason it is that high is because they have Clemson. Jimbo left FSU because he'd worn out his welcome and A&M is paying him more money. It's hard to believe either would be true in the case of Dabo. Also, A&M has way more resources both in terms of money and recruiting assets in-state, Dabo leaving for Auburn would be plain stupid.

If he's smart he holds out for all the money.............And I wonder what Stoops would accept that AU could afford?
Two BIG problems to overcome. Gus and Sexton aren't stupid. Stoops would have to have a LOT of incentive to go to that cesspool of a program... :cool2:

Re: Stoops to Auburn RUMORS

Pretty sure that everything Auburn is supposed to be in that thread, but to your post, I doubt this rumor is true.

Re: Stoops to Auburn RUMORS

"I didn't know Auburn had a job open," Stoops told USA Today Sports.

True but irrelevant since it will be open if he'd take it.

"I haven't talked to anybody from Auburn. I haven't met with anyone from Auburn nor am I set to talk to anybody. It's just foolish speculation that just is thrown out there that has no basis to it."

Anyone with a brain knows AGENTS handle it at this stage so....OF COURSE he never talked to anyone about it..

"When are y'all gonna get it? You just listen to things that aren't true, that's what it is...This is ridiculous. You people are listening to stuff that just isn't there. That's just a bunch of people (reporting rumors) that are totally clueless and just make up news. That isn't true."

Well, this is all true......but it has nothing to do with whether his agent listened to a pitch and whether he's actually interested (you'll note at no time did he take the General Sherman form of denial).

Stoops is adamantly denying any contact with Auburn. I expect him to be named as their HC within the week. ;)

Tuberville weighs in. This article is awesome.

“I don’t know anyone out there that wants to get into this mess,” Tuberville said. "Do you think Bob Stoops wants to get into this mess? He dropped a better job than this."

BURN!

Malzahn close to accepting changes to remain at Auburn

Though no agreement has been finalized and changes remain possible, Gus Malzahn is on the verge of accepting a reduced buyout and other limitations to remain for his seventh season as Auburn’s head football coach, sources told AuburnUndercover.

Malzahn’s buyout, sources said, would be reduced by an unspecified amount. Any coaching staff moves would have to be revenue neutral, effectively removing the possibility of paying buyouts for assistant coaches and assuring Chip Lindsey would remain as offensive coordinator unless he chooses to leave.
