You have to tie up cardboard in bundles with twine and stack it by the bins to get it picked up here. Just cram it in the bin and they will leave the bin untouched.My wife was afraid it wouldn't shake out, but it did...
Here, it all goes in the bin together, is picked up by an automated truck (they will not get out of the truck to pick up anything manually), and it's sorted manually at the recycling center. We earlier had a manual small bin pickup, contracted with BFI, but they gave up after China stopped accepting our stuff...
