When practice does start, don't look for 'The Dirty Dozen' to get many reps or much playing time in the bowl game. From what I've heard, Coach Saban is done with them and is moving on to '08.

I was reading Saban's philosophy on Bowl practices. He stated that he believes this is practice for a one game season, and they should not be thinking ahead or at the past season. They also have finals this week, and that is typically when the players get time off to study and do well on the tests. The 15th is Fall graduation and then they get goin' on practice.
