Ford has come out with a compact 4 door pick up. The hybrid gets over 40 mpg. Ford is sold out of these for 2022. Reasonably priced. Starts at 20K
I'm intrigued by this although my rule is don't by a new model until is has been on the market for 3 years.

They list 39.5 to 40.1 inches headroom for those. I sat in a new Ranger recently, which lists 39.8 inches, and had to lay the seat back to see out under the roof.

I have the same problem TB.

Gas prices tend to go up right before a traveling holiday. If I were a betting man, I would bet we see an increase July 1st. Weird how that works out.

Out today running a half of dozen errands, it sure didn't look like gas prices have had much effect on driving. The streets were full. Before anyone grabs for the low hanging fruit, I realize that some had important reasons to be out. I'm also sure most could have probably waited for when they will be going out tomorrow also.

People refuse to sacrifice what they've become accustomed to doing. In this case, regardless of how high gas prices get, people are hell-bent on continuing to drive like gas is $1.89/gallon, yet complain about the rising price of gas.

We have three more baseball tournaments and after that my family is cutting WAAAAAAAAAAY back on things that require driving. The gas prices and everything else it impacts is eating into our pocketbook like termites. If we hadn't already paid for these three tournaments, we wouldn't go.

You drive an RL? I bought a new one in '07, kept it until '14 (we outgrew it) - that was the best-riding vehicle I've ever owned. Just glided everywhere.

I’m still driving an ‘06 RL we bought new. 282,000 miles and still drives and rides great. I just put a new set of Michelin’s on it. It’s never been in the shop other than for service.

Last summer I pulled the radio and installed a touchscreen and a backup camera. The radio was easy. The backup camera was a challenge.
