I saw a similar thread a couple of weeks ago but I think many opinions have changes since the MSU game. I personally have high expectations for the 2007 season and think we can win 9 games or more. What do you think?

On a completely separate note, pray for JPW against LSU and the barn. If the O-line couldn't block a rush from MSU, JPW could be on his back many times.

OJ, apparently you've been spending more time on the golf course looking for the real killer and less time watching the 2006 Crimson Tide. Kidding, of course--but what gives you high hopes for next year?

Unless severe changes are made, we can expect more of the same on the offensive side of the ball.

On the defensive side, coming into the season we're going to have one of the least proven (and, arguably, least talented) front seven's we've had in a long time at UA.

I'm quite concerned about 2007.

In 2007, we are going to need an offense that can put the ball in the endzone on a frequent basis to make up for a defense that will not be as solid as the last two seasons. Saying that, if no changes are made to the current state of affairs on the offensive side of the ball, then 2007 could be abysmal. I wish I had a crystal ball.

if no changes are made, it'll be more of the same.

if the correct changes are made and made well, I think we'll see maybe a 9-3 or so, and hopefully compete for the West.

Yes, I am backing away from initial pre-season hope that we'd be contending for the NC in 2007. There is simply too much work to be done.

No changes: 10-2 minimum

Changes of any kind: 7-5, maybe 8-4

When you kick over the cart, you hit the ground first. Changes equal adjustments. Adjustments equal rebuilding. Good luck with that!!

Wow. Must be some fine shrooms you ate.

I think we can win 8 to 9 games also, I hope that Coach Shula get a OC, DL, and special teams coach. With losing T. Grant, Coffee, and Upchurch, he needs to put Javier in for some speed.... Plus he better run JPW out of the shotgun the entire game or he won't make to the end of the first quarter. K.B. hopefully will suck it up and be able to play. I was chatting with someone of the in to know people back when we were looking for someone to return KO's and I mention K.B. and he told me he wasn't tough enough and that they would go with D.J. and that's what happened. Don't you guy's think we need to get some speed in there on the offense to get the ball too ?

I am not ready to start thinking about 2007. More concerned about making it through this one and extremely interested in our long term planning staff wise.

Javier Arenas is not very fast.

Your first statement, I agree wholeheartedly with, but if the right changes are made I think the chance is there to do better than 9-3. Especially if D.J. and KB come back.

Is that a joke? We can't get 10 wins this season, with a pitifully easy home schedule. Come on... you don't actually think we will win 10 games next season with 0 changes?? :conf2:
