This is my third year living in Alabama and fourth year living in the South and I think I finally got used to the humidity this past summer. Heat isn't an issue with me, the humidity is.He could not hanlde the heat, humidity..or the gnats.
Thanks for the link. I added him to the 2010 prospects list even though I think he is a longshot to say the least.Interesting read about Nick Montana Junior QB has Bama interest. I don't know if he will be as good as his dad but it would be worth the gamble.

That is the thought that I had. I very much doubt that he will go anywhere but ND, but it is nice to know that the kids around the entire country are now thinking of us again. Their parents and grandparents respected Alabama. Now it is time to teach this generation...He may never come to Alabama but him mentioning Alabama first when he is talking about other interest is great advertisement for us regardless.
Wait until he gets a first hand experience with a real winter at ND. I guarantee he will be wishing for the heat. The Montana's live in NorCal. I guess he goes away to school down there. An even tougher heat transition from Bay Area weather.
Highly likely that Nick Montana ends up at Notre Dame.
You sir have uncovered another clue as to why Saban went with Coach Mac. Every move or hire CNS makes, he always thinks of how it well affect recruiting. Another reason why he is so successful. I love it!!!Seems there are a lot more California, and PAC-10 region players mentioning Alabama since Coach Mac came to Tuscaloosa.
Living in California I would guess that 1% of high school football players here have heard of McElwain, but 100% have heard of Nick Saban. The reason kids from California are mentioning Alabama are: 1) Nick Saban, 2) Bama trounced Clemson and Georgia on national TV (though we didn't get the Clemson game - got stuck with Cal-Michigan St. instead), 3) Bama had the #1 recruiting class in the country and 4) Bama is playing a bunch of true freshman, including some that are getting national recognition (Julio). You sir have uncovered another clue as to why Saban went with Coach Mac. From his tone, Hinder sounds like he liked U.Colorado a lot. He is a mountain kid so it seems to me that it will be hard to pull him out of that state... but then there is football to consider. :biggrin:Since we've offered the Colorado kid, Austin Hinder, also, it's obvious that we don't think they're all going to accept...![]()
Academics are very important to Hinder and he really likes Stanford and Cal as well. Colorado seems like the easy choice for him but judging by his favorites I'd say staying in-state is not a priority for him. I think he has a great upside and would love to get him on a visit to see what a real football town looks like. From his tone, Hinder sounds like he liked U.Colorado a lot.
