I'm baffled at "the Committee." I'm wondering why they don't appear to have anybody in this group who ... comprehends Strength of Schedule / Common Opponents / How Wins Later in the Season Mean More than Early / or just football in-general(!).

Texas, who beat A&M (and gave OSU more trouble than anyone all season, moves up only 2 spaces ... while A&M dropped only 4.

Vandy lost to Texas a few weeks back, and is ranked ahead of Texas???

ND is at #9???

None of them are following their instructions. Teams should not be ranked in order of wins or loses. They are supposed to be ranked by how they have performed against the strength of there schedule. I don’t think many people would wager IU or Oregon would have their records if the played OU’s, Alabama’s or UGA’s schedule. No offense to the big 10. Alabama has probably played more ranked teams this year then IU has played the last 3 years combined.

We had one of the MOST DIFFICULT SCHEDULES IN THE NATION and they can't wait to knock us out of the playoffs if we lose in our conference championship game to a HIGH RANKED team we BEAT IN THE REGULAR SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who has Indiana beaten? Who has ND beaten? Who has OSU beaten? Who has Texas Tech and BYU beaten??????? Who has Ole Siss beaten??? etc. Who in the world did Oregon beat????...

Let that sink in.
