Just don't worry about it. You can't fix stupid. Those idiots are going to be idiots whether you pay attention to them or not, but giving them attention just makes them feel that much more important. All this does is rile up our fanbase even more than we already are. I promise you, it's easier to ignore it because there's nothing you can do about it.

So an Auburn fan who drives an 18 wheeler intentionally hit Mark Ingram in Huntsville. If this is true then this is pathetic and they are talking about doing the same to Trent. Read this closely my friends.

I posted before I read that part. All I did was read the screenshot of the message board, I didn't read all the way down.

The guy is an idiot if he's now saying he's responsible for the Ingram wreck. Pretty insane if true.

Law enforcement can do something about it.

Yea thats pretty shady, I dont care what you are trying to accomplish. What if he was actually hit and killed? This is stupid...

The guy even says he wishes he was 'crazy' enough, you're right you shouldn't joke about it, but they aren't actually gonna DO it.

"He wishes he was crazy enough" is more than a joke. He won't do it but he is not joking about it. And do you know AuburnProud? Do you think that was a joke?

Nah, but you're right. This sad just to even think about it. but the WON'T do it.. Is what im sayin'

These people are idiots. I'm probably in the minority, but I really do believe it's time for the series to be suspended. Hopefully it won't have to reach Oakland vs San Francisco levels before it is.

I'm with you. Let them stand on their own two feet and focus on something else other than Alabama. Probably would do a good portion of our fanbase well to focus on something other than Auburn.

IMO anyone who says they "wish they were crazy enough" either IS crazy enough or is just all talk. Most likely the latter, but I wouldn't put it past any aubie to be crazy enough to try something like that.
When one fanbase starts talking like that, then I agree that it's time to suspend the series. Maybe it can be reestablished in say, another 365 years. Or not.

So you don't know Auburn Proud who resides in Huntsville? Then you don't know if this is the guy who hit Mark Ingram in Huntsville with his 18 wheeler or not.

I agree with all that you have said here. I believe many, many fans on both sides are growing tired of all of this craziness.

Just as in politics, you only hear the extremes. There are a few nuts out there. But most, on both sides, are logical folks who just love great football and are passionate about their team. Don't let some 35 year-old jerk who still lives in his parents' basement, never had a girlfriend, and who makes wild claims of "hitting Mark Ingram with an 18-wheeler" ruin it for you.

These fringe lunatics certainly make themselves, their fan base, and whatever mental institution they managed to escape from look bad. Delusions of grandeur is a sign of a schizophrenia. Let them bask in their own delusional state. I doubt any of it is true.
