Recruiting: Alabama Status Report 7/10

RTO - I know we'll still have another small class the next year but "if" it were to happen this way we'd just have to keep GS'ing . Since perfection is unattainable I'll hold on to my hope but , not my breath .

RTR !!!!!!!!!!!!

someone will ask this, because of the TI article, but Ricks is a little shaky on his commitment right now.....
Doesn't like all the DB competition maybe???

didnt ricks come from a very small high school? i always get him and lionel mitchell confused... i feel bad for saying this but if ricks isnt too solid w/ bama i dont think bama should be very solid w/ him im sure coach shula can find a db w/ the same talent or better..

by the tone portrayed in the interview, CCB wasn't too "upset" sounding. Basically told Ricks let me know ASAP so I can go recruit someone else if I have to.

I hope he stays with his commitment, but we'll get another player that'll likely be here for 4 years instead of 2.

I look at it like it may be a blessing in disguise if he does back out ya know? Not that there's anything wrong with him, but like you mentioned we could get a guy for four years instead of two, and that's still pretty important for us right now. Plus, I think we've done pretty well with the recruiting in the secondary and could probably better use the scholarship elsewhere.
