suprised me too.I echo Pachyderms comments. 0-1 DB was my big question. I got to hear CNS at the last scrimmage talk about the need for more DB's and then to see us not get a hotshot CB is a bit suprising.

Honestly, the CB crop has been down this year. The two we've been on the longest are now leaning other ways (Whitlock and Green). It'll be tough to pull Bryant, but it's possible.I echo Pachyderms comments. 0-1 DB was my big question. I was pretty sure I had read an article somewhere about him getting an offer, but it might have just been on another message board. You're definitely in the know more than I am, so I'll assume that whatever I read was just speculation.I know SOS was talking about offering, but I wasn't aware he rec'd one yet. I guess the temptation to go play with big bro would be there.
What are the odds that Darius Packer will get an offer from CNS if we are unable to get Whitlock, Green or Bryant? :conf2:Honestly, the CB crop has been down this year. I'd look for the staff to peek into the Juco ranks to find someone who can compete until next year opens up some more opportunities.
Unlikely at this point....needs work to graduate JuCo.What are the odds that Darius Packer will get an offer from CNS if we are unable to get Whitlock, Green or Bryant? :conf2:
Will Garcia be able to stay out of trouble in order to start next year?As far as next year goes, Stephen Garcia, who is redshirting this year, will start next year.
Lots of pressure in that area to go to the Boogs, even from his own coaches.Upshaw is still talking to the Auburn Coaches. Published today in the Mobile Press Register.

He didnt really get away, Coach Saban got on him late after Shula didnt go after him really that hard.Is there any chance Michael Ricks will resurface to help us in the DB area?
...and how about Dee Finley? Any chance we're still working on him?
We could have really used Michael McNeil in last year's class! I consider him "the one that got away" from that class.
The scoop I recall hearing is that he was at UNA (not playing football) trying to do what needs to be done to get into UA. Others might be more familiar with how this is going and when such an arrival could take place...Is there any chance Michael Ricks will resurface to help us in the DB area?
If he doesn't commit before the end of the season I like our chances. His school does not allow you to make official visits until after the season. Its a lot easier to go to LSU games for him than Alabama. However I do agree I"m sure LSU leads but it could change if we get him on campus. He's been to every LSU home game this year. Don't believe we have backed off.
I think Green is likely 4th on our chart for 3 LB spots. Granted, Brown will be a tough pull. So, Harris, Hightower, and Brown are all real possibilities.I don't pretend to be RTO but here's my summary.....William mentioned back in September that he wasn't going to do much with recruiting until after his season. He attended a couple of early Bama games and talked with AB and Jerrell Harris. He hasn't given a timeline for a decision.
He and Jordan will likely be in contention for the possible last RB spot. I don't think we'll have room to take 2 more.RTO, just a quick question. Whats the status on Brandon Bolden? Would he be in our #1 catergory or are we waiting for bigger fish to commit/decommit? I'm asking because I am meeting him and his uncle in Brookhaven, Miss. this weekend in route to T-Town for a uno-fficial visit I believe. From all accounts he is a great kid who is having a phenomal season but projects to be slightly on the slow side (4.6 speed).
