#1 of all time is Nick Saban. Dude came to the Capstone and has dominated recruiting while seemingly changing assistant coaches annually with no let down. Make no mistake about it, Nick is the secret to our success in every metric measurable or not.
Everything you just said is true and obvious but I never tire of reading it. How he does it I don't know, especially considering his age. Kirby has been at it for about 5 years and you can hear the wear and tear in his voice and see a little in his face. The most remarkable thing about Saban is his consistency, even when the team is a little down they are still in the hunt. Never seen it before, and I won't see it again. Bud Wilkinson at OU was a little early for me but that's the only team that has had a stretch like this. I hope our fans realize this and enjoy the NOW. it won't last, it never does. Tis life. As I type this, a notification just hit my phone, bill Russell just died. The old guard is fading away as we all will.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling kirby is not going to be around as long as dawg fans hope. Not because of failure or anything but burnout. There was an article that said Kirby Contemplated retirement before the 2021 season. Now of course Kirby is saying all the right things about taking self-care days now and stuff like that. But if you are contemplating this stuff 6 years into your head coaching career. It's not a good sign, especially now that the expectations have got even greater now that the Dawgs have finally won one.

Here’s the thing…
Coach Saban is the one-in-a-million who truly thrives on the grind…it makes him younger and hungrier…while it makes everyone else tired and burnt out.

Yep!

CNS Enjoys Recruiting, while Smart is forced to do it to keep up. After CNS retires, I wonder motivated Kirby will be...🤔
