Bowl games don't matter.
And if you are interested in watching the game, isn't this a better match up than the Citrus against Illinois? The Gator against Duke?
It seems we got snubbed but really, after missing out on the playoffs, I would rather have an opponent that's interesting. Nothing is interesting about Duke or Illinois football.

Just use this as an audition scrimmage for roster purposes for next season...this is about as meaningless a game as one can imagine.

I'll certainly enjoy Bama vs Meatchicken more than SMU vs State Penn.
I hope we beat Michigan by double digits and that their hypocritical AD is there to witness it. I don’t care who plays in the game, just get that 10th win.

They've got Bad Milroe as one of "snipers"....could have just had....Milroe. But the Bama protocol was good, with FSU and last year finishing us off.
