I'll bite, but i think there is another thread that is similar.

Dream (assuming 8 more slots):
1) JJ
2) Arthur Brown
3) TJ Bryant
4) Forston switching to us
5) McClain or Barrett Jones
6) Jerrell harris
7) Dee Finley (another switch)
8) Chase Clement

Reality:
1) JJ
2) William Green
3) Chris Jordan
4) McClain
5) Kerry Murphy (not sure whether to put him here since he is already "committed" but not listed on BOL
6) Harbin
7) Hightower (assuming we are still showing a lot of interest)
8) either Charles (Mitchell or Whitlock)

If we get 8 or more of these 1, we will have an awesome class, possibly top 5 in nation. None of these guys are second tier guys. they are all top notch recruits. so i think we'll be extremely happy if we whiff on all the 5* guys.

Seems like we do this every week!
Hey recruiting news and guessing is fun!

Again, don't count out Deandre Brown from Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

I've said this before but he's a good friend of my son and Deandre told him that he really liked
Coach Saban. He also, in a recent interview said he thought "Bama would be the surprise of the SEC".

He and Julio are both better than anyone on our current roster. That's not in anyway a slight to our receivers, who I think are the best overall group in the SEC. It's just that Julio and Deandre are simply the kinds of phenom athletes than come around about once every 20 years or so.
So those two alone would probably finish us in the top five nationally.

But I have a feeling that when this recruiting class is all wrapped up we have a legitimate shot at being rated one or two nationally.

I just hope we sign about six more D-Linemen and Linebackers. To me, in our current situation and where we stand with current commitments...filling out the class with three star Linemen and Backers would be better than signing 3 or more four and five star rated skill players.

If this thing is going the way that it was presented to me, then we won't have to settle for 3 star linemen and backers.

FWIW people in the Know say we lead for Arthur Brown. Bryce not coming to the game kinda sucked because they wanna go to school together. However we have time with Bryce.

I sure hope so. I'm sure he saw where he could make an immediate impact for us as soon as he steps on campus.

Even though we discuss this nearly every week. . . .

My dream 8:

1. Julio Jones WR - Calvin Johnson size with T.O. route running ability
2. Darrell Scott RB - Scored 45 TD's last year
3. Arthur Brown LB - Faster than most of the RB's he'll be chasing.
4. Matt Patchan OL - A 6'7" 265 lb Offensive Lineman who runs faster than Ken Darby did at the NFL combine.
5. Shayne Hale LB - Best ILB in the nation this year, runs a 4.5
6. TJ Bryant DB - Taller than most CB's already in college, runs a 4.4. Best DB available
7. Deion Walker WR - As a JR. had over 1500 yards of offense, and on Defense had 8 interceptions, stud athlete for sure.
8. Terrelle Pryor QB - Averaged nearly 9 ypc as a Jr and rushed for 29 TD's while throwing for 15, not to mentioned he picked off 11 passes on defense. I'm gonna throw him on just for good measure. I'd rather him come play SF for our basketball team than I would want to see him play QB for the football team (I like Star)

No one said this list was supposed to be realistic right? I mean you said dream . . . . ;)

SolderForTide, who is this Davis you think is our next commitment?
My guess is Ken Davis from Miss. He has committed to Ole Miss, but it seems that Bama is going after him pretty hard, but like I said I am just guessing that is who my old bud The Solder is talking about

According to a good source, he has an unconditional offer now. It must mean his grades have come up enough to give him a shot to qualify. I would expect an official visit, if so, and quite possibly a switch-a-roo.

What does that do for guys like Chris Jordan and Dontavious Jackson? Jordan especially. Would we still go after him and possibly move him to D? All of this assuming Davis were to pull the switch-a-roo.

A definite pecking order seems to be making itself known for these last spots in this class. Davis is #1 on the RB chart in front of Jackson and Jordan.

I think it's one and done from those three. Jackson is likely UGA bound. Jordan would probably go play RB at Clemson, rather than LB at Bama.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought you would say.
And I have to say I agree. I'll also add that the end of this class is going to be something that's for sure!
