Remember TE Josh McNeil?

He was a highly touted TE prospect last year that at one time was committed to Bama. He and OJ were going to be the "twin towers." I think we backed off when he wasn't going to make it academically. He's now at his 3rd JUCO school. Predictor has him going to LSU but he plans to take unofficial visit Arizona State for USC game (per Luke Stampini of 247). http://247sports.com/Player/Josh-McNeil-18580

I wasn't one of those people.

OJ Howard was the best TE prospect we've signed in my lifetime.

yes. If he is at his 3rd Juco, I'm not sure how much I want him. We could use a TE or 2 in this class, but I don't want one who won't be academically elligible if they come here. I hope we get Tyler Luatua.

at this rate, if he is good enough at the JC level, he could be drafted from a community college. :biggrin:

No reason to believe we have any interest here.

Hopefully it works out well for him, but he had a lot of work to do academically, and given that he's on his third JUCO in one year, I would imagine he's not exactly making tremendous academic progress.
