I must have missed why ronald steele did not start tonight. Any info?
From the B'ham News http://www.al.com/alabamabasketball/birminghamnews/index.ssf?/base/sports/122959176896670.xml&coll=2:
It came with point guard Ronald Steele not starting for only the second time in his 98-game career. Gottfried would not say why, saying the decision was "best for the team." He said it was "not a big deal" and Steele would start the next game.
Steele, who scored 13 points with six assists and two turnovers, was not made available for comment.

That meant the starting point guard was Brandon Hollinger, who is in the midst of a horrific shooting slump that stretched to 1 of 24 from 3-point land after missing his four attempts Wednesday.

What a slump for Hollinger!

Hollinger shot .431 from behind the 3 pt. line last season; 1 of 24 so far this season. I couldn't see anything wrong in is form last night; just a crazy slump that builds on itself.

There was a point in the TSU game when Bama jacked up 3-point misses 3, 4, maybe 5 trips in a row. This drives me nuts even though they were all good looks at the basket.

The red light should go on for 3-point shots after 2 or 3 misses in a row until at least one field goal is scored from a short jumper or from in the paint. Turn the green light back on after that.
