Anyone ever tried Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous Ribs in downtown Memphis? It's the only place I've ever been that I enjoy as much as Dreamland. Although they make dry ribs, I enjoy pouring a lot of the sauce on them and making them wet!

Anyone else a big Rendezvous fan?

yeah the only thing i dont like is they are dry, but other than that they have some really good food.

Thank God! I thought you guys were organizing a keg party at Roy Adams' house for the 4th. Had me worried about ya'll for a minute.

Hahahahahaha...The only thing I'd organize at Roy Adams' house would be a raid to find evidence or a mob ready to kick his slimy tail. I had two Tidefans windows open, and thought I was in "Grillin' and Chillin" - I'm hoping an admin will come along soon and move it to the correct forum.

My brother lives in Memphis and I request we eat there at least once whenever we go visit he and his family. The Rendezvous HAD the world's best beef ribs. I used to order them wet, and I've never had any better. Unfortunately, during a visit about two years ago, the waiter told me they stopped selling the beef ribs. My world almost collapsed... I do highly recommend their cheese plate appetizer - yum! (Don't do it if you're counting calories... of course, you probably won't be eating at the Rendezvous if your counting calories anyway.) Oh, and the Michelob is mighty tasty too. Damn, I'm hungry now...
