Pretty much.Does anyone else feel that IF Kiffin stays at Ole Miss it`ll be because he has Alabama in mind ? I personally do.
Lane is playing the fans and the media like a cheap fiddle. That's what makes his popcorn pop and covers it with butter!Pretty much.
At this point, Lane is just trolling the barn and their cult. It's hilariously beautiful. Mark my words. When the dust settles and they do make a hire, that bunch will deny that they ever wanted Kiffin. They will spin it as they used it as a decoy to get "the guy they really wanted." S.N.A.S.S. at its peak.Lane is playing the fans and the media like a cheap fiddle. That's what makes his popcorn pop and covers it with butter!
Now, if the burnt Barn gives him a 8 year, 100 million dollar guaranteed contract with 50 million up front, he will be happy to eat the grass until he gets put out to pasture! That'll be plenty to chase every heifer in all 50 states!
Barring that, you will find him at the Grove with a Hotty Toddyfor a few years.
During his service in the United States Congress, he took the initiative in creating Auburn football…Was Al Gore an Awbarn fan??
This will go over many heads here.During his service in the United States Congress, he took the initiative in creating Auburn football…

He may have Alabama in mind but Alabama does not have him in mindDoes anyone else feel that IF Kiffin stays at Ole Miss it`ll be because he has Alabama in mind ? I personally do.
That`s a pretty definitive statement. Care to share how you know that ?He may have Alabama in mind but Alabama does not have him in mind
I believe all what you said because I have a source who's sister is best friends with Freeze's wife and she says he's not going to the barn ( I know take it for what it's worth) they love it at Liberty, and he thinks he owes them alot for taking a chance on him plus even though they are going to the new conference the ACC has told them that they want to pursue them in next 3to5 years and he wants to be part of thatHere’s the deal with Freeze… now I can’t verify but the guy was adamant. About two weeks ago, I was discussing the coaching possibilities with a coworker (Bama grad). When I mentioned Freeze he said absolutely not and he told me he’d bet me whatever I was willing to wager. His neighbor has a family member on the Barn BOT, and said Freeze to the Barn was DOA. Guy got really animated, too; not 100% certain he was saying it in the hopes it wouldn’t happen or if he really had an inside source (no reason to doubt him). But I’d never seen him so hyped up before, and he’s solid Bama. TIFWIW.
If you listen to anyone as long as Greg Byrne is there Lane will not be Head Coach at BamaThat`s a pretty definitive statement. Care to share how you know that ?
Perhaps I missed it where Greg B. made that statement. Can you maybe refer us to where and when? Thanks. If you listen to anyone as long as Greg Byrne is there Lane will not be Head Coach at Bama
Do you not know the things Lane did before he left! Also where's your source that he wants Bama never heard him say this either, plus plenty posters on here who have more insight than me have said this as wellPerhaps I missed it where Greg B. made that statement. Never said I had a " source ", just a personal opinion and speculation on my part. He may well not be offered the job.Do you not know the things Lane did before he left! Especially if they aren't familiar with AlgorThis will go over many heads here.
He made Braxton flipping Miller the best QB in the SEC.I'm trying to figure out how Alabama has anything to do with Kiffin?
During his stint as OC at Bama, he made excellent use of a well-stocked arsenal of talent. He was also kept on a short leash by a wiser head honcho. He was a great assistant coach but his head coaching foo is kinda "mehh."I'm trying to figure out how Alabama has anything to do with Kiffin?
He gives a middle of the pack SEC West team a puncher’s chance in every game they play with his innovative offense and taking chances. He’s not afraid to hire a big time defensive coordinator and let them do their thing (took Spurrier years to figure that out), He has done very well with very little and it’s intriguing the idea of what he could do with bigger resources. He doesn’t even get the best kids in his home state.During his stint as OC at Bama, he made excellent use of a well-stocked arsenal of talent. I hear those arguments all the time, but IF he is the best candidate for the job, it shouldn't matter. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. It only hurts you.It doesn't diminish him as a HC candidate but it would remove him for consideration as the Alabama HC because of the Head to Head nature of this rivalry.
He would be actively recruiting against us in state and in region to start. Just let him flip some long committed 5 Star players a few times.
Plus with the combination of how AU likes to taunt and troll their Iron Bowl wins with their cute little catch phrases (Punt Bama Punt, the CamBack, Got a Second -Kick Six) and with the way Kiffin pokes people on Twitter and let's see how that goes when he wins a few Iron Bowls.
The Alabama fans who would still want him now won't want him by then anyway no matter how successful he is at AU.
I mean when has a HC just flat switched teams in a BIG TIME rivalry anyway? Has that ever happened?
If Kiffin goes to AU he will have made his bed.
