I hope the leadership at the Capstone has the affect I think it will. Being around other young men with their heads on straight will bring out the best in him. It's obvious Coach Saban sees something special in him as a player and person.

I'll tell you this, there's nothing funny about RF reaching out to Trooper anymore. Trooper is scum, but think about it from RF's perspective. That's just sad, and makes Trooper look even more like a bum. Now, I'm REALLY glad we got him. He'll be surrounded by support of all kinds.

No use in getting into the whole socioeconomic dynamic here, but I will add that the whole "Family" pitch espoused by Auburn the past several years was by no means an accidental result. It was a pitch that was, at least in significant part, designed to target and appeal to kids from difficult family backgrounds.

And - the circumstances are right - to bypass the family or guardians and attempt to pick off the kids by any method possible...

Excellent diagnosis. I've thought of them,(aub) as having cult like tendencies for years.

I thought it was a funny picture and I wanted to share it. I know a lot of fans of a certain northern conference are taking this picture awfully serious.
Let's take a moment to really appreciate the implications here. If the photograph is legitimate, it would become the first visual evidence ever of a teenaged male actually sleeping in a high school class!!

The first shot, with him slumping over the desk while sitting was believable. The shot of him standing up, it's simply stupid that anyone would take it seriously...

Also makes you question the validity of the first because i believe his apparel is similar. My argument still stands: this doesn't get posted if he signed with Auburn.
