Has anybody noticed that in the FSU game and in some of the Arkansas game how good he tackled?
Ex:FSU RB was running to the side and Rolando slammed him down to the ground. He did it by holding on and not just lunging or arm tackling as the coaches stress not to do.
Has anybody seen what I have seen?

He's a good tackler but the play I think you're talking about isn't what I've always heard of as a good tackle. Of course he got the guy down quickly without allowing extra yards but I've always hard you aren't supposed to hit the ground before the guy you tackle, which is what happened if memory serves.

He's a monster.

I haven't seen a Bama player that seemingly is all over the field like Rolondo since DeMeco Ryans. McLain conjures up memories of the Bear Bryant quote about Leroy Jordan: "If they stay in bounds...Leroy will get them".

Whats even more impressive about Rolando is the fact that he is a true freshman. Last year at this time he was playing high school ball. I know he is a big guy and strong, but just imagine how much better he is going to get with more time in a college S&C program. He could very well be one of the best ever to wear Crimson if he keeps progressing.

He did the same thing to McFadden early in the Hog game. And that takes some strength.

Yeah, that play where McFadden was trying to bounce it outside & Rolando grabbed him by the collar and snatched him straight down. Its like watching a lion take down a zebra on discovery channel sometimes when he makes a tackle.

I mite as well take time to do this so.....My apologies to any and all who were offended by my uhhhh....unsportsmanlike post and RTR!
Oh,and thanks again Alex.
