UF has already peaked, UGA has not. But the time the SECCG rolls around, UF will be on their normal downward spiral, UGA will be playing their best. I'd much rather play UF at that point in the season. UF has a history of peaking too early. In 03' they started a 5 game mid-season winning streak by beating #3 LSU, they ended the season on a two game losing streak by losing to Iowa 37-17. Even last year they played their best ball early. They beat UT 59-20, arguably their best game of the year, it was mostly downhill from their as far as their performance. You can go back to almost any of their past 6 to 7 seasons and see a trend. They always play their best game or two early to midway through the season and they never finish strong (except 2006.)
Point being, UF will not be the same team in the SECCG that we have seen the past few weeks and neither will UGA. My hope is for Florida to win this week and hope that UGA still hasn't fully gelled. Not saying we can't beat UGA twice, but I do think it will be harder the second time around. . .
