RTO What are our chances we get these prospects?

He could wait until signing day like so many others. Giving a date is actually pretty thoughtful of him, considering the alternative. He isn't hamming it up, saying look at me, I'm so good, we're doing that for him. On the other hand, it adds to the 'coat-tail' effect if recruits really do want to play on the same team as him enough for it to affect their decisions.

You are correct - don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Tebow for agreeing to be on ESPN. I think it is a credit to his abilities and an exciting thing for a HS player. It just makes things more interesting (maybe cloudy is a better term) for us fans. He appears to be all class - I hope people do not think differently of him just because he chooses one school over another. Part of the fun will be seeing how otehr battles shake up after his committment.

I agree 100 percent likes someone posted earlier he is leading us on to choose the gators. A kid would not take like 4 or 5 unofficial visits if he doesnt like the school. No matter which way he goes ill cheer for him and wish him good luck.

Just ran through Scouts top 100 to see who we are going head to head on (might be out of date, I do not know) and this was the list. Put in some of my non-professional opinions.

Andre Smith - AL, AU
CJ Spiller - USC
Tim Tebow - UF, AL
Tim Hawthorne - AL, AU
Brandon Spikes - FL, AL
AJ Jones - FL, AL

I think Smith and Hawthorne will end up staying in state. Have not paid much attention to them because I just assumed they were not coming to FL although I have nothing to base that on. Don't know who they prefer - normally would assume Tide but AU has been doing well of late. I think AL gets at least one, maybe both. Spiller seems like a lock to USC but they may be pulling in a number of other highly ranked RB's that may make him look elsewhere. I think Tebow goes to UF but there is plenty out there to suggest that AL gets him. I think FL could be slight favorites for Spikes and Jones but we already have 2 solid LB's in our class and several other possibilities. We don't have depth so I expect we will take several this year but I could see one of the two shying away from a potentially loaded class. Would be interested in your opinions as I am generally biased.

I'm not so sure about that. I can see us losing Jones, but not sure about Spikes. At one time, I believe he said we'd be hard to beat. But he and Jones both fall in love with each school they visit, so their final choices will be very interesting.

I think that Spikes and Tebow go to Bama and Jones goes to Florida thats just my opinion but that can go either way too. As for Hawthorne and Smith I really dont know about those two. CJ Spiller is one who im not really concerned about if he comes great pick up if he doesnt no big deal.
