Rubric picking the winner

Let's set up a rubric for predicting the winner of the KY/AL game.
Firsts lets set up a Hierarchy of teams:
Outstanding
Excellent
Very good
Good
Average
Below average
Really bad
Now, where do we put Kentucky? I would say in the Very Good category.
Then where do we put Alabama? Right now I would place Alabama in the excellent category just on the verge of becoming Outstanding.
Based on this I would say that baring some extraordinary event Alabama will win.
I don't do point spreads.

Well Professor, it’s been a while since I was in an academic environment, but aren’t rubrics generally used as scoring/grading criteria for students? I’m a little rusty …..it’s been a while.

Not sure I agree with the method, however I do agree with your final decision process of predicting a Bama win…..RTR!!!
