Rush Propst on Finebaum

Rush Propst was scheduled to be on Finebaum today. However, he left a message with Paul that he suddenly couldn't make it because of an emergency involving recruiting. Any one know what is going on? Mods?

Wondering the same thing myself. I doubt it is anything all that major due to the dead period but hopefully he'll elaborate when/if he finally gets on the air.

Maybe he just found at that the sophomore from Locust Fork has decided to take his official visit to Hoover, and is now on campus waiting to be escorted. ;)

Seriously, what kind of emergency related to recruiting wouldn't wait till after a short radio interview?

Or was Propst just being melodramatic?

you posted too quick.....he did make an apperance! it was after the 5:o'clock hour. I didn't hear anything about an recruiting emergency.Most ot the talk was about the Vestavia rivilary and things that are "locker room" talk!

Uhm, Probst did show up. He was on around 5:00pm.

Yeah, he did finally show up ... but he was delayed because of some "emergency" related to recruiting. Interesting.

He did eventually show up, but he was originally scheduled to be there around 4pm. Paul said it was because of some emergency that had to do with recruiting. Who knows........

Since this is a Propst thread and I saw nothing on the football board; on rivals radio this morning a B'ham caller called in to report that Rush was hired on as BAMA OC. Caller gave his source as the B'ham News. Living in VA, I don't have a clue.

Nothing of that sort has been heard on Tide Fans and I wouldn't put any stock in it until you see it here.

The very reason I ask the question. Thanks Surfer. I will say, Rivals Radio wasted a good 5 or 10 Min on the subject this morning so I was surprised when I signed on to the board not to see anything.

I think that is a little blown out of proportion. I think it would be an interesting hire.
