I don't know anything about the Hoover offense. Is it the same as the Rice offense under Major Applewhite, and would Propst and Applewhite have similar systems?

that would be the biggest mistake saban makes. you can forget about in-state recruits anymore, he's hated by more high school coaches in the state.

One good thing is that every high school football player in the country probably knows who he is. I think it depends on what position he is put in.

hoover runs the same offense of troy/texas tech.

I think that is a little blown out of proportion. I think it would be an interesting hire.

Usually, his arrogance is cited. He's insisted on being put up separately, in a hotel, at clinics, while the other coaches stayed in the dorms. That sort of thing...

First of all, Probst plays second banana to no one. Not even Nick Saban. Secondly, he's qualified to be a position coach at best.

No way his ego lets him do that. No way.

This was probably a rumor started by someone near the Wire Rd exit to sway a fence-sitting recruit.
