They are the barners of Mississippi.I like dogs.
They are not Barners.
Actually, back in the mid-fifties, when I started to UA, the colors were really even closer together. Ours was much darker...Marion is very near the same as Crimson.
Yes.I watched the lowest-scoring football game I'll ever see there in Stark Vegas a few years back. Final score: 3-2 (Was Auburn the opponent? I don't care enough to look it up). One of the more bizarre items on my ever-lengthening football game attendance record.
Also, there's a solid coffee shop a few blocks away in downtown Starkville.
My boss & two colleagues are MSU grads, & I like all three of them.
Finally, one of my dearest friends on earth is a 2x MSU grad, & a GREAT guy. He & I attended our mauling of Arkansas last year, which was his 1st ever game in BDS.
(And just like that, I've named almost the entire list of nice-person MSU fans, sadly.)
Can't get any better than that. They also have a very good Aerospace Engineering program from which my Son has a very fruitful degree. Fear not, he is, and always has been Alabama to the core, but a higher rated program, instate tuition, etc, sent him there. As for the PGM program, he had three PGM roommates his Senior year which led him to now have his home on a golf course.
I would love to make them sweat! And even if they did.......what's a little sweat amongst friends?

If I'am not mistaken I believe Jason Simpson (weather man on WHNT News out of Hunstville) is a Mississippi Grad.Actually, they are really pretty a nice bunch over all. I know a lot of them. There are many of them here, because it's the closest high tech center to Starkville. The largest MSU alum chapter out of MS is here in HSV...
