Yea, this shows you the athletic staff has been working overtime. They have analysed major league baseball players that were good football recruits coming out of highschool that have earned good enough money to pay their own tuition so they don't count against our scholarships but weren't good enough for the big show in baseball. There are two such players currently on campus. Both will probably redshirt to regain their football skills and body weight.
CMP has a reputation for turning former nobodys into good college football players. If I were a kid who got lost in the numbers out there, or went to some ****-ant school where no recruiters ever look, and had a burning desire to play, I'd walk on at Alabama, Not just because our numbers will be low, but because CMP is one of the few college coaches that will view a walkon as something other than a tackling dummy.
