SEC Best Its Ever Been?

SEC currently sits at 123-18! Has absolutely destroyed the top teams in other conferences. I could see us getting ten or more teams in the tourney this year!

I think our upper bound for the dance is 12. I don’t know that’s *politically* feasible but we have 14 tournament quality teams and 12 that should have the résumé.

Unless they penalize the SEC for beating itself up like in football. I know with the quad system that is less likely, but you never know.

That’s where NET *should* save us. Doesn’t punish you for losses to good teams.

We need to keep delivering in noncon to get as many teams to Q1 as possible. So far been an amazing season for the SEC as we’ve run rampant. Probably the only team that has a sub par one to expectations is Texas.

The SEC was terrific in 1983, when Alabama finished at the bottom of the league but blew out Georgetown and went on the road to beat then top-ranked UCLA.

Nobody really knew it then, but with all the analytics around today, the SEC's profile has gotten deservedly higher.

Gonna be a tough league to play in. It's always difficult but so far this year it does seem to be MUCH more competitive.

I hope Bama can make it through without 6 or more losses.

By far the best they have been up to this point on the season in my life. Long way to go though.

The kicker is with non con coming to a close the amount of bids per conference are about close to locked at this point unless something catastrophic happens in the remaining games, like AU losing to OSU (which would likely steal a bid back for the B1G). After that we’re all just jostling for placement.

If the ACC is a four bid league though hoo boy will there be a reckoning there.
