Those are some really bad matchups. Talk about horrible ratings.

Agree, ready fro the 4 team playoff. BCS and bowl matchup protocol is a mess.

The only bowl games that look remotely decent are the Capital One Bowl and the Outback Bowl. Most of the rest look to be complete bloodbaths or just don't look very appealing.

I suspect there should be some shuffling when it's all said and done.

Vandy vs. Michigan might be entertaining but the rest are putrid. I hope none of these projections pan out.

Based on what Ole Miss fans had to say about their visit to Legion Field last year, they are probably consoled by their loss in the Egg Bowl knowing MSU awaits the same fate.

I think A&M v. Michigan would be an entertaining match-up. I wouldn't pay to watch any of the rest of them.

Bama-Clemson Orange Bowl sounds pretty good to me. Though I am still hopeful of a Bama-Stanford Rose Bowl if we don't luck our way into the BCS Championship.

A Bama-Clemson match up just sounds so boring to me but, not as bad as a Barn/Missouri-UCF match up (yikes, what a horrible reward for winning the conference).

It's only going to get worse next year because the playoff will suck up 4 good teams leaving a bunch of bad match ups to fill the rest of the bowls. There's just to many bowl games, 6-6 teams should not be going to bowls, shoot, I don't think 7-5 teams deserve a bowl.

We may not like what we get.

If a four team play-off were this year and FSU,OSU, and AU all won, you'd have 12-0 ACC champ FSU, 12-0 Big 10 champ OSU, and 11-1 SEC champ AU at #1, #2, and #3. Who would be #4 ? You'd think it would be Bama, but if Okie ST. beats Oklahoma, they'll be 11-1 co champs of the Big 12. I guarantee the "committee of experts" would use the ole conference champions rule to justify moving them into the play-offs and thereby avoiding any possible all-SEC rematch...after all, isn't that what caused this. ;)

Blech. Bowl committees listen to TV executives, who listen to advertisers. They know that is a pile of dreck, just like we do. Not a game on that list I'd pay to attend, unfortunately including ours. Most competitive might be VU vs. UM, but given Vandy's struggle with Wake and Michigan playing OSU tightly, that might get out of hand, as well. I've followed college football for as long as I can remember, back to the days when there were four bowls or so. I'm guessing I'd be flipping over to the History Channel well before the fourth quarter of almost all of those.

I just hope the team plays hard--and not uptight-- in the bowl game and gets a win. Clemson may be inferior to us but....honestly so is Auburn and we know how that game ended. We need to end this season on a positive note.
