I'm a natural pessimist, but I'm afraid this is shaping up to be a disaster for Bama. If voters are looking for an excuse to leave the Tide out of the BCSCG, a narrow Georgia win combined with a reasonably big OK State victory could lead to LSU remaining at #1, OK State moving to #2, and Alabama dropping to #3. 1966 and 1977 are just two examples where folks were more than happy to reward others while leaving a deserving Tide team on the outside looking in. Not being in control of your own destiny stinks.
Also, any ideas on how an LSU loss would affect our computer rankings?
On the other hand, if LSU keeps scoring while I type, I'll not be nearly as worried.
