Nothing but respect for the man. He's a first class individual. I almost got upset because when they were doing the post game interview it looked like he was going to cry all the way through it. With all the championships and trophies he's won, I wanted him to show a little dignity and congratulate the team that beat him, and I was glad that he fought through the tears and did that. I really respected that from him.

I'm with others in that I'm glad that he's finally gone and we don't have to play him anymore. It was certainly a privilege to watch him play. Years from now I'll be able to tell people I saw possibly the greatest player to have ever played the college game on the field. And the victory is all the more sweet because we were able to beat him today, and that will be remembered forever in Bama lore.

And yes, all of that was easier to say after we stomped a mudhole in him and his team today. j/k ;)

I agree -- what an incredible young man. He obviously has a heart of gold, and I wish him the very best in the years to come.

In this day and age, any young man who can get a CBS announcer to read scripture live on national TV deserves every ounce of respect that I can give him. He's the real deal and I wish him all the best.
Madamsnapper, best post of the day, in this day of the PC world, to be able to get someone to read scripture on national TV will always have my respect, that is just one of the many great things I have witnessed young Timmy do. I will do nothing but honor and respect this young man, he has shown the world how to act, even in the face of adversity on a national stage.......

He is a class act and will continue to do great things at the next level.

ROLL TIDE AND GO GATORS AND THE REST OF THE SEC, that is my theme for the bowl games, I want all SEC teams to dominate, I am so tired of hearing about the Big 12, the Pac 10, and all the other meager conferences being better than the SEC. Granted, the respect is growing, but I want ultimate domination from top to bottom, and I believe that we are slowly building the transformation into being the dominant conference in the nation.

As we saw last year; To be the best you have to beat the best, and today we put ourselves back in the position we have longed for since 1992.

ROLL TIDE,
BAMA GREG

Seems the worse we can do is joke about his crying and that beats the heck out of running down a player for robbery, assault, murder or some other felony. You can't go to jail for crying.
