Just stopping back after a fun week of posting with you all last week to say congrats on your impressive win and best of luck with the rest of the season. Thanks for all the hospitality and intelligent discussion.

Certainly all us M fans are disappointed with the way the game unfolded, but it was a good reminder that, although we are all excited about the direction Brady Hoke has the team going, we ain't there yet. Not even close. Your offensive line was just as good as advertised, and it was just about as bad a matchup as I feared. Also was very impressed with Yeldon, and your entire back 7 on D - no "growing pains" shown by them at all.

Give us a couple years to get the talent stockpile back in decent shape, and maybe we'll be ready to give you more of a game. Thanks, take care, Roll Tide and GO BLUE!!!!!

I haven't looked at Michigan's schedule, but, if you get the right teams at home, ya'll can still win the BIG.

Thanks for posting and goodluck the rest of the way.

Thanks for the compliments and I do think Hoke has you on the path back. I wouldn't mind a Bama/UM home and home, but that's unlikely, given the present drift of FBS conferences. We had a couple of breakdowns in the secondary, but part of that was because Lester, the safety who's the signal caller was held out of the second half.

I don't know how much you know about Huntsville, but there are many people here from Michigan - all fine people, from the ones who've been friends and neighbors. In fact, my lay server for communion this morning is a UM grad. She looked me right in the eye and seemed sincere when she said "The Blood of Christ." OTOH, her husband looked a bit grim, but then he's a Missouri grad, and our visit there is yet to come... :D

Best of luck for the rest of the season and I'll be pulling for UM to win out and win the B1G. Hope that you give Urban Meyer another panic attack and wipe that smug, arrogant and condescending smirk off his face like CNS did a few years back. I just can't stand the thought of having to look at him for another 4 -5 years. Loved your away / throw-back unis. They really popped on the HD TV!

I really enjoyed getting to meet a bunch of Michigan fans in Dallas this weekend. Every Michigan fan I met was really, really nice and knowledgeable about football. I even had to sit between two pairs of Michigan fans at the game and they were good sports. Michigan truly has a classy fan base. I hope y'all have a great rest of the season and I hope to pull for y'all in the Rose Bowl come January! Go Blue and Roll Tide!

It takes class and humility to come back to a message board from an opposing team and give props instead of excuses. Good luck and BEAT OHIO.

I was impressed with Denard's toughness and the "don't quit" attitude of the Wolverines.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Just an outsider's opinion, but you don't need to mess with your uniforms. They were fine before someone started to change them (i.e. in the Bo Schembechler era).

Thank you for the compliments. The fact that you came back unlike many tells me a lot about you. Come back anytime and talk football with us. You will find the board will be much more active and the topics will focus more now that the season has started. If ya wanna chat come on back and visit.

BTW, Brady Hoke will turn out to be a great one for you. Good luck the rest of the year.

I already had respect for Denard Robinson, but my level of respect for him went up even more last night. He's the most dangerous offensive weapon in the country IMO and an outstanding young man.

Bama has made many a quarterbacks folds up shop in games like last night, but Denard gave Michigan all he had. He could play for me anyday.

And yes, those Wolverine uni's popped last night on the ol' high def. I loved 'em.

I think it's important to remember that playing teams like Bama and LSU isn't really an accurate measuring stick for teams from other conferences in terms of how they stack up in their own respective conferences. It's a different level of football that isn't easy to match to be quite honest.

Good luck the rest of the season and take it all out on Urban and the Buckeyes when the time comes.

Roll Tide.

I think UM will be fine, once Hoke gets to play with his recruits, and not Rich Rod's leftovers. Wrong players, but what could you expect from someone who wanted to go against what made Michigan what it is?

RichRod dug you a big hole -- give it time to dig out. We forget how spoiled we are with Coach Saban -- we could well be in the same hole you are in, had we followed that same path.... (phew!)
