Let’s see how high in the draft did he go? Six years at UGA and fourth round pick with no degree? No money no education but hey we beat TCU for the title. KSU says hello… last years CFP was a complete break down so back to back titles is a real joke… kudos for 2021 they won it on the field…. But last years was gift wrapped by the CFP… but hey congrats SB on the fourth round pick… it probably has happened but has a NT winner ever went so low?

RTR!

AJ McCarron and Jay Barker went in the 5th round, Greg McElroy went in the 7th round, and Jake Coker didn't even get drafted.

That's just Alabama QBs who went lower than 4th round. I"m sure there are tons of them if other teams are considered.

That’s not right…skipping 2 classes?
Going to guess he’s been held back at lest once so it balances out?
But if he was held back, how does he have that high a gpa?

And how is it even possible to get that high a gpa?

My son just graduated high school…he was in all advanced classes, salutatorian, and completed a dual enrollment program at a local junior college where he received an associate’s degree and the highest gpa possible at his school was a 4.5 (he had a 4.4).

This story sounds fishy.

I found this:
Is it possible to get a 6.0 GPA?
Not All GPAs are Created Equal
There is wide variability in the scale used to calculate GPA. GPAs can be based on a 4.0, 5.0 or 6.0 scale.

And this:
There are two types of GPA scales (weighted and unweighted), and they work differently. An unweighted GPA scale is based on a 4.0 scale. Regardless of the type of course, regular or advanced, an A is worth 4 points. Bs are worth 3 points. Cs are worth 2 points. Ds are worth 1 point. Fs aren’t worth any points. When using an unweighted GPA scale, the highest GPA one can receive is a 4.0. In a weighted GPA scale, Advanced Placement (AP) or Honors Courses are worth more than regular courses. In a weighted GPA scale, an A is worth 5 points. Bs are worth 4 points. Cs are worth 3 points. Ds are worth 2 points. Fs are not worth any points. When using a weighted GPA scale, GPAs can be higher than a 4.0, possibly all the way up to a 5.0

Now I wonder what my GPA was out of high school.
