All the libs are acting like Bush is running again. I guess it's really difficult for them to accept the fact that he's a lame duck President. So they continue in typical fashion to spew their venom for no reason than the fact that he's a Republican and they're Democrats and as such that's what they do. He can let their names and insults roll off his back for the next two years. Eventually, history will show him for the kind of President he is, and the Democrats for what they are.
The Democrats think they have the Presidency locked up in '08 with Comrade Hillary. She might have the Democrats swooning at her feet, but she'll follow John Kerry in defeat. All this will be spearheaded by the man who will be sworn into office on January 20, 2009.

I dunno about that. I think the fact that he is a lame duck is part of what drives some of their attacks. They didn't have the spine to stand up to him in 2003 when he got us into this senseless war. Now that we are in deep but he's on the way out they are happy to kick sand in his face. He deserves it, but his opponents, particularly including Hillary, can't use their newfound brass to hide their earlier cowardice.

I would hope so but I wouldn't count on it. History has a way of being rewritten...especially when those on the left are in control. Going into Iraq was needed (regardless of whether there were WMD's). As hard as it was and is (being in Iraq) it probably bought us a little more time as a free nation.
