Our chances for a regional bid are still very much alive thanks to Florida's loss to South Carolina. At 29-30, the Gators are no longer postseason eligible, which means that we could end up receiving a bid as the SEC's seventh team.

This is a picture of Kyle Moore making a diving catch against South Alabama, but to someone who wouldn't have known that otherwise, it looks as though Moore has tripped and fallen, which his teammates find hilarious. Then you've got Bentley levitating.

Watching this team swing the bat should be considered torture (even if you consider the team's few double-digit run games, thinking of the sheer inconsistency of our batting is mental torture), but I always want us to stay alive...

This might get interesting if we make it. There are alot of doubters that call themselves fans, but if we manage to just make it in, there is always a chance.

being a fan isn't about putting blinders on. not only do i doubt bama will make the tourney, but i question our being in it if we do make it. doesn't make me any less of a fan though.

I am a hardcore Alabama Baseball fan. Not just baseball but the other major sports we have as well but baseball more so than anything. I won't completely give up hope that these guys can get a regional bid until the last team has been named. I also know that if they get their acts together and stop being so freaking lazy they can win regionals and advance to super regionals and so on. Its not a matter of are they good or not. They are really good when they really play. We just have a problem with getting them to use their talent and not slack off.

I think the SEC only gets five teams in this year - the four hosts and Mississippi State. i don't forsee Tennessee getting a bid.

Losses that hurt bad - one to Auburn, Fri to LSU, Sun to Tenn, Fri vs. Canisius and pick two midweek games we lost.

Win all those, and we're going somewhere as a No. 2 tomorrow. Since we didn't, at least we can hopefully anticipate the return of Cale Iorg.

I think you mean Villanova (6-1, 5-3,4-1) we swept Canisius (18-2,7-1, and 8-5). That first game against Villanova was the only Friday night lost we had until we hosted LSU.

Larry Templeton is an idiot. Thanks Larry for screwing the SEC out of having 7 teams. The only SEC team that's not hosting but is going to the tourny is his own Mississippi St. He even said that they had put emphasis on playing out of conference games. He's right because Nebraska is ten times worse than playing Murray St.
