I saw some ridiculous stat with Notre Dame where something like 70% or 80% of their two deep roster have three years or more of college playing experience. Have a bunch of 5 year seniors.

Experience can carry a team a long way.

I think the Ohio State defense is like this too. @B1GTide can speak about this. Teams that stick together win together.

Yeah. They would have had the ball at the 11, but they marked 15 off from there, so they go it at the 26. They still had 1st and 10, but had to settle for a FG.

So there is a chance that Georgia would have ended up with just a field goal without the penalty.

I just saw a highlight of UGA’s 39 penalty on the sideline. Dude didn’t have pads on! You’ve got to leave the team after that.

In 3 cases though the team favored by oddsmakers won the game and today UGA was a different team without Beck.

UGA lost this game as much as ND won it. Kirby choked.

Correct - our defense is very experienced. Our offense, overall, is also pretty experienced. But not together.

Certainly not a Notre Dame fan, but Penn State and Notre Dame can't stand each other,.so the Orange Bowl semifinal just got a little more interesting. And it doesn't exactly break my heart that bowl cut choked today

I think that ND won with a dominant defense. They played very conservatively on offense, pressured the young GA QB and pounced on mistakes.

In other words, old school football.
