So, we know dude is a Bama fan then it was certainly the dough. How much grease you think was the difference?

The word from the Oregon board is they are moving him inside which is a definite reason why Bama didn't go all in on him. This makes sense why Oregon was his choice among other factors.
I guess Tank like the idea of playing DT so perhaps we won't see any chance of a flip.
Only time will tell if he made the right choice to switch position.

I’d love for Tank to have chosen Alabama. He didn’t.

So best wishes to him, except when a poor performance by Oregon benefits us.

If Eugene isn’t all he wants it to be, I’d welcome him back in Tuscaloosa.
In these days and times, he may very well be here in six months anyway. It would be good to get another end to go with Matthews, either from a flip or in the portal.

I’d like to think he chose them because of his preference for a position switch rather than pure money.

Hard to compete with that Nike money, if indeed that was the major factor. Regardless, I’m sure that it was a big pay day for that young man. Have we finally given up the ridiculous fantasy of “ college “ football being anything other than a minor league, semiprofessional farm system for the NFL ?

It may stick, but this one feels like it might not be over.

I know nothing, but I know our staff won't stop being in his ear until he signs on the dotted line.

And if Tank thought "committing" to be a Duck would make his life easier right now, imagine all the Alabamians who'll be harassing him to reconsider.

Money may win in the end. Or, maybe the voices win. We will see.

In division I, yes. And even then, it's not completely inclusive. The smaller Div I schools, plus Div II and Div III are still "pure" in terms of what college football is supposed to be (for the most part.)

Tank said the reason he chose Oregon, is the great edge players they've had go to the NFL. He believes they can help him do the same. So if their moving him inside, well he may not like that.
