I'll be watching and pulling for the frogs. I think it will be a close game. I just don't think UGA is "all that" this year. And the frogs are a scrappy bunch.
Need an account on futotv???ESPN @ 6:30 Central, or stream on FUBOTV.
And Bennett acts like that whole Miami team IMO.Nobody gave Alabama a chance against Miami in 92. That being said, TCU isn’t Alabama.
Wearing Bama gear today!I am wearing no red or black today. I am wearing a purple t-shirt (I bought a variety pack that one just happens to be purple). No sports radii today at all. I will not be watching tonight, unless a miracle happens and I will watch tcu kneel down.
I'd seen a lot of complaints about UGA fans on this board ever since I joined (which was a little over two years ago now). I live in Ohio so, naturally, I've never encountered a UGA fan in person. This being the case, I was never able to flat out agree with the opinions on this board about UGA fans being among the worst because I had never encountered any UGA fans. Most insufferable fanbases…
1) Georgia
2) Michigan
3) Florida
A million miles in between
4) Texas
5) LSU
6) Auburn
You just don’t know if haven’t experienced Georgia fans. I grew up closer to Auburn than Tuscaloosa in a town full of Auburn alums and I have heard for decades that Auburn fans love Iron Bowl week a hell of a lot better than DSOR week because Alabama fans are better than Dawg fans. I thought they were trying to be on good terms with me, but then I went to the 2018 CFPNCG and started meeting far more dawg fans through my professional career and grew far more sympathy for our Georgia based Bama fans. They are unquestionably the worst fanbase in college athletics and nearly as bad as Philly fans as the worst in all sports.

However, the aftermath of last week's Peach Bowl has since happened and I can now agree with the opinions of UGA fans I see on this board...It was amazing to me that Georgia fans refused to give Ohio State any sort of credit after they were all predicting Georgia would win in a blowout.
I saw tweets saying things like "Ohio State played their A game, Georgia played their C game, and Ohio State still couldn't win" and I thought that was ridiculous. Instead of giving credit to your opponent after such a hard-fought game, you instead just say that your team played their "C game" because you can't accept the fact that Ohio State's A game was on par with Georgia's A game?
I also saw a bunch of tweets from UGA fans talking about how the refs kept Ohio State in the game, which was also ridiculous because UGA had quite a few questionable calls/no-calls go their way also.
The list goes on, but bottom line is that I finally see why so many members on this board feel the way they do about UGA fans.
During my time in the Million Dollar Band, the UGA fans were the worst. Every other fanbase respected us and let us to our thing; they were the ones they threw stuff at us to the point security had to get involved. The list goes on, but bottom line is that I finally see why so many members on this board feel the way they do about UGA fans.
I’ve had grown men bark at me, and them act like they have 100 NCs. If you want to see the general Georgia fan then go to YouTube and watch Uncle Lou. Probably the best Georgia fan I’ve conversed with is our resident Georgia fan here (Dawg alum) he is probably one of the 3 best rival posters here. But generally I have never had a good experience with Georgia fans. They have the worst aspects of the LSU and Florida fanbases rolled into one.I'd seen a lot of complaints about UGA fans on this board ever since I joined (which was a little over two years ago now). Unbelievable.During my time in the Million Dollar Band, the UGA fans were the worst. Every other fanbase respected us and let us to our thing; they were the ones they threw stuff at us to the point security had to get involved.
I have a cousin who is a UGA fan, and while he is a great guy, he has shown me what UGA fans are really like. He was at the 2007 Bama vs UGA game in Tuscaloosa and he told me that seeing Bama fans tailgating in Tuscaloosa was striking to him because we are so different from UGA fans. He said that Bama fans tailgate by sitting around watching football games on big screen TV's, while UGA fans tailgate by taking keg stands and barking at and cursing at opposing fans. He said this like it was just funny to compare and contrast the two fanbases and we both tailgated. He didn't see how weird that was at all.I’ve had grown men bark at me, and them act like they have 100 NCs. If you want to see the general Georgia fan then go to YouTube and watch Uncle Lou. Michigan are just arrogant Yankees who will bring up academics and the Civil War when they are getting their teeth kicked in. But they are more tolerable than Georgia fans if you aren’t a buckeye or spartan fan.
Yeah I saw one of Uncle Lou's videos a few days before the game where he was trashing Ohio State.I’ve had grown men bark at me, and them act like they have 100 NCs. He is one of the “better” ones. But watching him isn’t that far off of what our Georgia posters deal with on a daily basis.Yeah I saw one of Uncle Lou's videos a few days before the game where he was trashing Ohio State. Among the (many) other ridiculous comments he made, he said something along the lines of "Ohio State thinks they're a blue-blood even though they've only won 2 national championships in the last 50 years"...the irony of that statement coming from a Georgia fan lol (and even if that changes for Georgia tonight, Ohio State and Georgia will still have the same number of national titles this century, for whatever that's worth).
As many Bama posters on here found out after starting threads asking that question in 2018… to three-peat you must first repeat. On 92.9 in Atlanta today, Aaron Murray said he thinks Georgia will 3-peat. What made it even funnier was that he thinks our lack of experience at QB will hurt us next year, so I guess he thinks Bennett has a 9th year of eligibility.
I recall a similar sentiment from pro-Bama analysts after we beat Georgia in 2018 who thought we would 3-peat as well with Tua. That did not turn out so well for us.
