I’ve seen the threads regarding Milroe and the O-Line as it was all warranted but wanted to credit others too that maybe were regarded as weaknesses potentially entering the season.
Wide Receivers:
These guys heard all off season that they couldn’t catch the ball or create separation but all they did all year was prove everyone wrong. If not for IB creating separation or catching the ball we don’t advance to the playoffs. Wiggins also deserves credit for getting those guys to improve across the board.
Linebackers:
The middle linebacker is one of the most important pieces to Saban’s defense flourishing. Whether it be Steele or Bala the middle linebackers have improved greatly starting from Lawson to Shawn Murphy, they have all tackled better and most importantly diagnosed plays.
Coach Wolford also earned that paycheck this year.
