That too.

I always thought it would have been hilarious if Buffalo played San Fran and you had former USFL QB Steve Young against former USFL QB Jim Kelly.

Something tells me a bunch of revisionism turning that downtrodden league into "they could have competed with the NFL" would have happened among the pundits.

I am waiting for Bills vs Vikings. The game will probably never end and eventually both will just give up.

I know the conversation is FBS, and I know we wouldn’t gain anything from it but I’d selfishly love to see us play North Dakota State.

We were supposed to play Pittsburgh in the 1982 Sugar Bowl, but ABC wanted Herschel vs Dan Marino. It should have been our turn since we both won the SEC and they'd gone the year before...but they invoked some sort of argument and selected UGA over us. If I'm not mistaken (and I was 12 so I might be), they set that game when it was going to be #1 Pitt vs #2 Georgia...and then Pitt lost a blowout to Penn State.

Some sort of wheeling dealing cost us the shot at Pitt.

H&H w/McGill—of Montreal, not Mobile. International showdown!

Only Zer-O-gon and the Fightin’ Ferentzes *mildly* interest me in appearing on a future ‘Bama schedule

On past ‘Bama schedules, is there any history with the Ivies, or did social factors and bias on both sides prevent it before the Ivy League downgraded to non-scholarship in the early ‘50s?

We beat Penn 9-7 in 1922. They were coached by John Heisman. That is the only game I am aware of.
