Tennessee game time

right now it is still up to CBS if they choose it for the 3:30 Eastern slot. If they don't it will be 7 PM Eastern on ESPN. For once I am hoping for CBS. I suspect they are waiting to see who wins their games this weekend before they make the call

Exactly. Win-3:30. Lose-7:00.

Please tell me that LsU is not playing Western Kentucky and then has a buy week before playing us? Basically, 3 weeks to prepare for us. Now that takes exploiting the schedule against us to a whole other level.

I think that would work against them. Do you really want to go 3 weeks without facing a physical team before facing Alabama defense? Yeah, you might be rested, but you will not be ready.

Why? Isn't aTm vs Ole Miss a better game regardless?

It probably IS a better game.

However....

1) CBS wants the biggest draw, and once beaten Alabama is the biggest draw in the SEC right now

2) it's Alabama-Tennessee, a rich history of tradition that enables Verne to talk about stuff that happened before most of us were born (get ready for Kenny Stabler stories if CBS has the game for obvious reasons)

3) once beaten ATM is not as big a draw

4) it is POSSIBLE Ole Miss might lose to Memphis

Okay

LSU is NOT playing Western Kentucky and then has a buy (sic) week before playing us.

(Hey, you told me to do it!!)

:)

Every Tennessee game against a good opponent has come down to the end. I know that Saban will not overlook them, but the team and fans will do so at their own peril.

I concur with you about overlooking UT.

However........three of those four games were in Knoxville and let's be blunt: does anyone REALLY think UGA loses that game if Nick Chubb doesn't go out on the very first play? I realize how 'if Colt hadn't gotten hurt' that sounds but it's not like the Vols beat UGA by 16 points, either.

They lost at home to ARKANSAS. The same Arky team that lost to Toledo for Pete's sake.

That said - if we don't show up to play them we WILL lose.

Eh, a blow for sure, but Michel did very well in substitution; UGA didn't lose because they were ineffective on the ground.

I think you may be correct.
But I really don't think it really matters since both teams are off the week before the game.
I'm a little worried we may be spent going into Tennessee.
