Terry Grant

Please tell me he's getting counted as a Redshirt for last season. As I recall the game he got hurt was the 3rd game and up until then he had only gotten minimal carries. That would be a waste. I think if he's healthy he'll not only be starting, but lighting up the ESPN highlights on a weekly basis.

I don't know if it's official from the NCAA, but i'd assume that TG would get a medical redshirt for last year since he was hurt when he was. That means he still has the regular redshirt. If he is as good as advertised, I don't see why we'd try to redshirt him this year since we have some talent at RB already.

Not sure if they ended up calling it a redshirt or if it was actually a medical hardship. But I expect he'll be a freshman again this season one way or another.

And I agree with you, if he's healthy...lookout, dudes got it. Not to mention the rest in our stable. Man, running back is gonna be alot of fun to watch.

I've posted this a few times, stop me if you've heard it! (I know I don't post enough to get heard) :)
Terry Grant is the best HS FB player I've ever seen, and that includes several that have played in the NFL including one MVP (Steve McNair). Great body lean, and feet, as others have mentioned... he's FAST!

Intresting side note to this is that his replacement at Lumberton HS was a young man named Roshard Henry, signed with USM. I believe he's probably faster than TG. A natural FS/CB, and with some polish maybe a great RB, but USM's already got em a good young back, he'll be playing in the secondary as a freshman.... just a random thought.
