Yeah, but Ed it was clear that the ball was on the ground with a second on the clock from the replay. Bottom line ..... your LSU defense shouldn't have given up so many points during the game to force it to go to overtime and let that situation occur.
I'm surprised he wasn't whining more about the highly questionable 4th down conversion.

But seriously, how many times did aTm convert the 4th an ballgame plays against this "great" defense?

He should of challenged the spot on the 4th down conversion. That was clearly not a first down. Even after the guy rolled over he barely made a first down. Also, the call on the interception of Monds knee on the ground. It looked like it may of been down but their was no clear indication it actually touched the ground. Also, the PI on Williams in the end zone was clear the ref just wanted to go home, you dont call PI in that situation.
Those were the calls and more he should of complained about, not the one where video evidence was clear there was 1 second left.

Good point! How’s that #FREEDEVINWHITE working out for them!
Devin played a great game. Sure fire cant miss NFL prospect. I thought when he ripped the ball from Traveon and they scored the game was over but the LSU secondary just allowed too many big plays.

On the first down, the first down line in the TV was incorrect and it was clearly a first down. That explains why there was no conflict for those at the game not watching it on TV. The first down lines in TV are not always accurate

I didn't think it was a 1st down either, but that's when you have to take it upon yourself as a coach to challenge. Just like the Harris fumble during MSU game, that was never challenged!

As a Bama hoops fan, I want to repeat what numerous media members have said after poor officiating - shouldn’t let the officiating decide the game. Make the plays so officials aren’t a factor.

There were a lot of "judgement calls" that went against the corndogs; it is what it is, and you just have to live with it.

That said, I'm curious to see how the SEC office explains this:

Minimum Time For A Play After Spiking The BallARTICLE 5. If the game clock is stopped and will start on the referee’ssignal with three or more seconds remaining in the quarter, the offense mayreasonably expect to throw the ball directly to the ground (Rule 7-3-2-f ) andhave enough time for another play. With two seconds or one second on thegame clock there is enough time for only one play. (A.R. 3-2-5-I)

If you have to have 3 seconds left to spike the ball, why did they put that last second on the clock?
