I don’t think it’s right for us to get Texas either but we don’t have to worry about the 2/3 Seeds until the Regional Championship (Elite 8)
I just want a favorable 8/9 seed and 4/5 seed because that will help us at least get past the Sweet 16 which has historically been when and where we get tripped up.
If we can get a nice path to the Elite 8 then we’ll have a real shot at something special.

Looks like Memphis is going to close out Houston. 68-55 now with 5:20 to go.
The yahoos on ESPN radio are picking Purdue or Marquette as their national championship picks right now.
Not that it really matters but with Kansas, UCLA, and Houston all going down we are going to be Consensus #1 in the Polls too I would think.

Memphis would be a very tough 8 seed for any number 1 seed. Hopefully with this win they get a 7 seed or at least are not in our bracket. I think Lunardi’s bracket gives us a pretty good 8 vs 9 opponents. Florida Atlantic is decent but didn’t play anyone except Mississippi and Florida and got killed by Mississippi and won a close game vs Florida.
Nice top half of bracket for us imo. Virginia and San Diego State then Arizona. That seems like a decent draw.
