The Nick Saban Show?

I just watched it on CT.com and if you guys are expecting a lot....well they ask Saban like 5 questions on the field after the game and then he was gone. This couldn't have taken more 10 minutes to film. So if someone complains about how Saban didn't put enough time into the coach's show...I'm giving you a little heads up.
Then we'll get our famous response from some, "He's here to coach, not ------------(fill in the blank).

The show is vintage Saban; direct, and to the point. Efficient to the point of being brisk. The format, and the look, is totally different from what we are used to seeing. Don't know if this is what he's done in the past, but I really liked it!! :)

Just watched it on Crimson Tradition. I like it! The old way was very plodding and forced. This way doesn't beat around the bush. I also like having the mini-interview with the player (it was JPW this week). Having the players on in the past made me feel embarrassed for many of the players. You could always tell they were out of their element and on the anxious side. This way, there's time to edit!

There is also a replay of the Bama - WCU game coming on WZDX Fox 54 out of Huntsville starting at 10:30PM tonight. I'll at least watch the first half of the first quarter. I missed that much due to Dish Network having people that arent very smart working for them. I know many people missed Grant's first TD as well with the Nebraska game running over a little. I'll take this opportunity to make up for what I didnt see Saturday and maybe try and focus on a few different things during parts I did see.

The show's format will take some getting used to, just like we need to get used to how CNS does other things. Some of our coaches' shows in the past had our coach sitting there looking like a blow up toy. I rather like the brisk way the show was presented. Some live game highlights w/Snake and Eli was good. The short clips of some of the players were pithy and to the point. I give it two thumbs up.:PDTW_1003:

I wish we would go back to the coach and the moderator sitting at a counter. These shows where we've had the coach and the mod just sitting on bar stools in the athletic center tells me they are trying to put just enough to get by to have a coach's show....

The Bamanation needs to get off " I want the coach to do this or that" I want the coach to do one thing coach. People worried about what he's wearing or how he's standing if he clapping or whatever need to get over it, he's not a puppet. The most I ever saw coach Bryant do on the sideline was chew the ref when it was needed and talk to his staff or players when necessary other then that he paid attention to what was happening on the field. My view from the cheap seats Saturday night I saw a TEAM first time I've seen that in sometime.

Coach Saban figured out how to nip this show in the bud. Meet up with a reporter for 10 minutes before heading home from the game.

Coach is a genius! Just win baby!

I like the clips that were used for filler , the snippets with the players and I like getting fresh and/or initial reactions from the coach but , I feel like I just wasted 30 minutes of my time which I could've wasted doing nothing .
I'm sure it'll grow on me @ some point .
