Fox gives no leeway to new shows. I don't watch any Fox shows until they are about 3 seasons in. I've been burned too many times.

Not sure what the ratings say, but I sense a decline in viewership for TWD. I also don't think FTWD will make it much longer. Seven seasons for TWD is a long run on television these days.

I fell asleep during the first episode of the back half and haven't bothered since. This one is losing me fast too. I am tired of filler.

We watched the first season then my wife and I quit watching. There were too many unlikable characters. I don't think the writers intended for people to route for the zombies.

They keep giving me quality zombie shows I'm gonna keep watching. Fear & regular both. Fear characters are a bit tougher to like but it's still pretty good to me.

I was fussing with someone last night about that. They seem to think just because Negan is still alive in the comic and in fact the comic is still running as proof that the show will continue on for years. No way that happens.

Same here. After 1.5 episodes I got tired of it.

Considering the drop in ratings, I cannot see this show going on "for years", no matter how hard AMC want to keep them on air. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the Negan storyline is the last major story of the show. After Negan there isn't nothing in the comics they would bring back the fans of the show and Negan isn't bring in the viewers like they thought.

As for Fear the Walking Dead, that show sucks and I won't be watching it again.

Yah, show can't go on forever - at this point, we just keep repeating the same story with different backgrounds. Negan has been a refreshing twist due to his over-the-top brutality, but I'm honestly starting to fade on the show overall. Hopefully they'll finish with a flourish instead of a whimper...

I actually preferred the last episode with the women's camp to the Negan episodes. IMO, the lack of interest seems to be that an episode focuses solely on one situation and offers no other plots. There are enough distinctive characters now that moving from one to the other during an episode would be more attractive to the audience than staying with one situation. Switch from the Hilltoppers to Carol and Morgan then to Alexandria rather than having to watch an hour on Negan's men and the Hilltoppers and the dipstick leader. That aside, the show is slipping.
